Fresh from the farmer's market! Bring the fun of shopping, preparing meals, and imaginative cooking to playtime with the Pretendables Fruit & Veggie Basket by Fat Brain Toys!

This colourful wooden pretend play set features eight delicious-looking fruits and vegetables, a child-friendly wooden knife, a cutting board, and a sturdy green shopping basket. Little chefs can shop for their favourite ingredients, practise slicing them into pieces, and create their own pretend meals.

Each fruit and vegetable is made up of two or more pieces connected by hook-and-loop fasteners, allowing children to experience the satisfying sensation of cutting through the pieces before putting them back together. It's a fun, hands-on activity that encourages fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, and imaginative exploration.

Beyond pretend cooking, children can practise identifying fruits and vegetables, sorting and matching pieces, and following simple sequences. Even cleanup becomes an engaging matching activity as little ones reconnect each piece and return everything to the basket.

Whether they're running a pretend grocery store, preparing a family dinner, or exploring new foods through play, this delightful set inspires creativity, learning, and endless opportunities for make-believe fun.
