We are seeking individuals in the Ottawa area who use AAC, visual communication supports, communication boards, picture symbols, or other alternative communication methods to participate in a paid consultation opportunity related to a special accessibility project that Ability Hive is currently working on.

We welcome submissions from:

• AAC users
• visual communication users
• individuals who use communication supports across any age or ability level

Caregivers, family members, and support persons are welcome to complete this form on behalf of a participant if needed.

Selected participants will be invited to view the project and provide feedback at an upcoming in-person consultation session, to be held in Ottawa. Compensation will be provided for participation. Support persons/caregivers are also welcomed to take part in consultation.

We are committed to creating an accessible and inclusive consultation process. Accommodations and support persons are welcome.

Session details:

• Approximately 1 hour in length
• Compensation: $125 honorarium for participants and participating caregivers/support persons

• Location: Ottawa area
