The 10 lb Weighted Blanket provides evenly distributed deep pressure across the body, creating a comforting, grounding sensation that can help support relaxation and regulation. Whether used during quiet time, while reading or watching TV, or as part of a sensory routine, its generous size makes it a versatile addition to the home, classroom, therapy space or sensory room.
The blanket is constructed with multiple layers for comfort and durability. Glass beads are distributed throughout the quilted sections to help keep the weight balanced across the blanket, while soft polyester padding adds cushioning. The outer layers are made from 100% cotton, providing a comfortable fabric surface.
At approximately 41" x 60" (104 x 152 cm), the blanket can be used across the lap and body while seated or for more complete coverage while lying down. At 10 lb (4.5 kg), it provides substantially more weight than a typical throw blanket for those who benefit from deeper pressure input.
Its calming teal colour also works beautifully in sensory rooms, classrooms and other calming spaces.
